The Pebble Beach Company, The PGA TOUR and AT&T, Inc., have renewed the longtime sponsorship with AT&T for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. AT&T has sponsored the tournament since 1986, making it the PGA TOUR’s longest-running continuous title sponsor. The 2025 tournament, won by Rory McIlroy, marked the telecommunications company’s 40th consecutive year sponsoring the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Since the tournament began, 23 different World Golf Hall of Famers have combined for 43 wins. Dating to 1937, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is the PGA TOUR’s second Signature Event of the season. Genesis will continue to be the title sponsor of the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR Scottish Open through 2030, following an announcement today of a multi-year agreement. “The extension renews Genesis’ commitment to Scotland’s historic national open, the Rolex Series and FedExCup event, which in 2022 became the first ever tournament to be co-sanctioned by the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour,” according to a release. Gary Woodland has officially been named vice captain of the U.S. team for the 45th Ryder Cup, which will be played Sept. 23-28, 2025, at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York. FedExCup Fall Event Returns to Black Desert Resort, featuring a par-72 Black Desert Golf Course designed by the late Tom Weiskopf, the final design from the 2024 World Golf Hall of Fame inductee, scheduled for Oct. 23-26, 2025. Bank of Utah is again the title sponsor of the PGA Tour’s Utah event at Black Desert Resort, now called the Bank of Utah Championship. Ponte Verde Beach, Florida – Jay Monohan is out as CEO of the PGA Tour (PGA). The PGA announced today that it has named Brian Rolapp as CEO. Rolapp has spent more than two years with the National Football League (NFL) “where he helped reshape how fans experience live sports and most recently served as the league’s Chief Media and Business Officer,” according to a release by the PGA.
