President Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai Trump is making a big move in golf. The young athlete is an incoming freshman at the University of Miami and she’s going to be an integral part of the team in the future. Before that happens, she’s signed a huge deal with one massive golf brand.
Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai signs NIL deal with TaylorMade

Kai Trump has now done what so many athletes in college do now. She signed an NIL deal. Any notable college athlete has the chance to sign a deal with a brand to represent them. It’s one of the easiest ways for college athletes to make money while they play their sport.
There are few more notable athletes than the granddaughter of the current president of the United States, and TaylorMade took note of that. The incoming Miami freshman is officially signed on with the brand that also features Nelly Korda, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy.
Per Sports Illustrated, the high school junior shared a statement, “I’m proud to officially be joining team TaylorMade! This has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid and I can’t wait for the journey ahead. Excited to see what we can accomplish together in the future!”
The report states that Trump has a NIL valuation of $1.2 million, which makes her the top female golfer heading into college. Overall, she’s the 81st-ranked player overall in NIL. She’s the fourth-highest female athlete, trailing just UConn’s Paige Bueckers ($1.4 million), LSU’s Flau’Jae Johnson ($1.5 million), and LSU’s Olivia Dunne ($4.2 million).
Trump currently attends The Benjamin School, where she’s not the only person who plays golf and is related to a celebrity. It’s the same school that PGA Tour hopeful Charlie Woods, the son of golfing legend Tiger Woods, attends.
This is not the extent of the Trump family’s involvement in golf. President Donald Trump is an avid golfer, even appearing on LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau’s YouTube show Break 50 last year. He also owns multiple courses and spends some of his free time golfing.
He is also very much involved with the current state of pro golf. Donald Trump has had two meetings with PGA Tour representatives, including Tiger Woods and Adam Scott, to try and speed up the PIF merger, though it hasn’t happened yet.
The Tour did thank him for getting involved as they continued to try and work out an agreement with PIF governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan. The two sides have been negotiating for more than a year and a half.
