World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler is back at Augusta to defend his crown and win back-to-back Masters tournaments and his third in four years. And so far, he’s off to a good start.
Scheffler just teed off at Augusta and he’s already impressing, which is not surprising.
On hole four, Scheffler drained a 62-foot putt for a birdie, his first birdie ever at hole four in the tournament in his career. Watch as the putt goes down and Scheffler moves to minus two early on in the tournament:

Scottie Scheffler’s putter is dialed in early

If there was one critique to Scheffler’s game, it has to be putting. He’s 87th in putting average on the PGA Tour at 1.748.
But that hasn’t been the case recently, and on Thursday in round one at The Masters, that putter is dialed in early.
If Scheffler can continue to putt like this, it might be tough to catch him despite three more rounds to go. But it is a long tournament….
