Scottie Scheffler’s putter toss on Friday is VERY relatable
If you’ve ever played a round of golf in your life, you can probably relate to Scottie Scheffler’s putting struggles so far at the U.S. Open. Especially if you have tossed your putter in any sort of way.
With day two of the 2024 U.S. Open underway at Pinehurst, the struggles continue for Scheffler who entered the day +1 after a tough first round. Things aren’t getting better any time soon for the world No. 1, either.
Scheffler had a long par putt on 15 to try and get some rhythm going. But instead, he missed the putt and had a very relatable putter toss, showing his frustrations.

Can Scottie Scheffler rally?

If Scheffler wants to win another major, it’s going to take a big comeback. He entered the day +1 and is currently two strokes over par through eight holes early. With leader Patrick Cantlay at +5 before he tees off, Scheffer is going to need to make a big charge.
He’s closer to the cut line than he is the top of the leaderboard but with a talent like Scottie’s, anything can happen. He just needs to really get it going on his final nine today.
