The 2024 3M Open finished with Jhonattan Vegas clinching his 4th PGA Tour victory, marking his first win in nearly eight years. Vegas triumphed with a final score of 17-under 267 at TPC Twin Cities, narrowly beating Max Greyserman by one shot.
This victory at the 3M Open, sealed with a birdie on the 18th hole, earned Vegas a $1,458,000 share of the $8.1 million purse, along with 40.6 Official World Golf Ranking points and 500 FedEx Cup points.
Other notable performances at the 3M Open included Matt Kuchar and Maverick McNealy, who both finished tied for third place at 15-under. Kuchar, who had a chance to win, ultimately settled for par on the final hole, while Greyserman impressed with a bogey-free 63, including six birdies on the back nine.
His second-place finish at the 3M Open marks the best result of his career so far, positioning him well in the FedEx Cup standings.
The 3M Open, the only PGA Tour event in Minnesota, concluded with 74 players making the cut. The tournament saw a mix of veteran resilience and emerging talent, setting the stage for an exciting close to the PGA Tour season.
As the Tour takes a brief hiatus for the Olympics, players will prepare for the regular-season finale at the Wyndham Championship, where playoff positions will be finalized.
