    LIV Golf Scores Big with Latest Sponsorship Deal

    LIV Golf league has secured a lucrative sponsorship deal with the prestigious Italian luxury car brand, Maserati, in a move that further solidifies its position in the golfing world.

    This partnership, which will span across three upcoming LIV Golf events in the United States, marks a significant milestone for the breakaway tour as it continues to attract major corporate sponsors and reshape the landscape of professional golf.

    LIV Golf, backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has been making waves in the golfing community since its inception in 2022. The tour’s innovative format, featuring 54-hole events with shotgun starts and no cuts, has attracted some of the biggest names in golf, including Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, and Brooks Koepka.

    This influx of talent has put significant pressure on the PGA Tour, leading to a highly publicized rivalry between the two tours.

    Maserati Joins the LIV Golf Family

    Maserati’s decision to partner with LIV is a significant endorsement of the tour’s potential for growth and success. Kelly MacDonald, the Head of Maserati North America, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating:

    “The LIV Golf brand shares our brand’s spirit of innovation and creates engaging, unique experiences for new and existing audiences to the sport.”

    “We are thrilled to highlight our latest performance, sports and super sports cars at these events while welcoming new golf fans to the Maserati family.”

    Monica Fee, the LIV Golf Senior Vice President and Head of Global Partnerships, echoed these sentiments, saying:

    “Maserati is synonymous with power, performance, elegance, and excitement—all attributes that align with the LIV Golf brand.”

    “Our League is reenergizing the sport and driving engagement with new mainstream audiences that are craving action and innovation.”

    “We are excited to have this prestigious brand supporting our tournaments in Houston, Nashville, and Chicago where Maserati’s presence will elevate the fan experience.”

    Beginning at the Houston event, Maserati’s branding and products will be prominently featured on-site, with displays showcasing their latest performance, sports, and super sports cars, including the GranCabrio Trofeo Spyder, the MC20 Cielo Spyder, the GranTurismo Trofeo, the GranTurismo Folgore EV coupe, and the Grecale Trofeo and Grecale Folgore EV SUVs.

    The partnership will continue at the Nashville tournament, scheduled for the week after the U.S. Open on June 21-23, and the Chicago event, set to take place on September 13-15.

    In addition to the on-site presence, Maserati will receive additional exposure through the CW Network’s broadcasts of the LIV Golf tournaments, further enhancing the brand’s visibility and reach.

    Pro-Am members will have the opportunity to participate in curated driving adventures, while VIP hospitality options and concert experiences will also feature Maserati’s involvement.

    This partnership is a significant win for LIV Golf, as it continues to attract major corporate sponsors and reshape the landscape of professional golf. The alliance with Maserati, a globally recognized luxury car brand, lends further legitimacy to LIV Golf’s efforts to establish itself as a serious competitor to the PGA Tour.

    As the rivalry between the two tours intensifies, the success of LIV Golf in securing major sponsorships puts additional pressure on the PGA Tour to maintain its position as the premier golfing tour.
