    “Golf’s Longest Day”: Golf Channel airing 10 hours of continuous coverage of U.S. Open qualifying

    Have you ever wanted to sit and watch 10 hours of golf on a Monday?

    Of course, you have. Well, get your popcorn ready because June 2 is Golf’s longest day. Why? The Golf Channel is airing 10 hours of continuous coverage of U.S. Open qualifying from 10 qualifying locations across the country and Canada, as well as the U.S. Open host, Oakmont Country Club.

    It’s called “Golf’s Longest Day” presented by Titleist, and Rich Lerner will tackle the task of hosting the marathon, which begins at Noon.

    We’re somehow only three weeks out from the third major of the year, and it’s a big one…

    “Rich Lerner will serve as the primary host for GOLF Channel’s coverage of Golf’s Longest Day Presented by Titleist and Eamon Lynch will provide reports from Oakmont Country Club. Damon Hack and George Savaricas will be joined by Tripp Isenhour and Brendon de Jonge to provide commentary and analysis throughout the 10 hours of live coverage, which will air from 12-2 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. – midnight ET,” according to a release.

    There are also many notable players trying to qualify in the hopes of qualifying for the upcoming 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club June 12-15 to keep an eye out for while you binge, including:

    • Webb Simpson
    • Max Homa
    • Harold Varner III
