Good Good Golf held an investment round that earned $45 million in financial backing. Creator Sports Capital, a newly formed investment firm founded by Benjamin Grubbs and Brian Kabot, led the round, but Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions is also named as a significant backer. Manhattan West Private Equity and Sunflower Bank got involved alongside Manning and over 50 global investors, most of whom are connected to golf in some way.
The $45 million investment is reportedly going to be used to grow the content that Good Good is creating and to allow them to continue expanding into the retail scene and provide live experiences for golfers and golf fans everywhere.
Since its inception in 2020, Good Good Golf, which was led by Garrett Clark and Matt Kendrick, has grown exponentially. It has personalities that have done content with pro golfers like Bryson DeChambeau and Rickie Fowler.
Co-founder Kendrick said per Deadline, “Good Good Golf has seen incredible momentum as we continue to redefine what it means to be a modern golf brand. This investment allows us to scale our media and commerce initiatives, bringing even more exciting content, products, and experiences to our rapidly expanding community. We’re harnessing the power of fandom to make golf more accessible, dynamic, and engaging for players and fans of all ages.”
Grubbs, now one of the chief financial backers, called the company “more than just a media brand – it’s a movement that is reshaping the golf industry.” Grbbs added that the company’s wide approach “has cultivated an engaged fan base and driven extraordinary business growth. Their ability to turn audience passion into thriving commerce, partnerships, and live activations is what makes them so compelling.”
Manning said he finds the content they create “fun and creative” but is also hopeful that the company can help him score a little better when he gets on the golf course.
