The UNC men’s golf program gets a special Air Jordan 9 in a Carolina Blue colorway

The 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Golf Championship gets underway this weekend at Charlotte Country Club as the conference will crown a season champion. But when the North Carolina Tar Heels’ team hits the links for the event, they will do so in style.

Jordan Brand hooked up the Tar Heels’ men’s golf team with some new gear featuring the sleek Carolina Blue color scheme that the university is known for.

The team showed off their gift package from Michael Jordan’s brand which included a very clean Air Jordan 9 golf shoe, new golf gloves, and a new bag for players. The items are all dressed in Carolina blue with the argyle on it as well.

Playing at UNC has its perks with this Air Jordan 9

Being an athlete at the University of North Carolina certainly has its perks, especially with Michael Jordan being an alumnus.  And it’s not just the basketball teams or football team that gets the perks as you can see above.

The men’s golf team also got to practice at Jordan’s own facility, The Grove XXIII recently. It was there the team met Jordan and the connection was made. A few weeks later? The gear showed up to the team.
