Keegan Bradley, the US’s 2025 Ryder Cup captain, clearly has an idea of how he wants his team to be structured already. Aaron Rai’s breakthrough first win on the PGA Tour seemingly has been coming for a while now. The Englishman who turned pro when he was 17 years old and has had to multiple treks through Q School finally crossed the finish line on top at the Wyndham Championship after a grueling three day tournament.  Rai’s bogey free final round 64 (-6, -18 for the tournament) gave him a 2-shot victory over Max Greyserman in Greensboro. The Wyndham Championship has not failed to deliver dramatic storylines being the regular season finale to the PGA tour. After a delay on Thursday and a late start today the fight for the FedEx Playoffs began at the Wyndham Championship, only to be delayed due to darkness in round 1. DEBBY PUT UP A FIGHT BUT WON’T KEEP THE WYNDHAM DOWN. The cleanup and preparation after the fallout from Hurricane Debby proved to be a formidable challenge for the Wyndham Championship agronomy staff, plus roughly 60 volunteers. The first round of the Wyndham Championship has been postponed to Friday due to Tropical Storm Debby. All tournament facilities remain closed until further notice. Earlier Thursday it was announced that even if the tournament would play in the afternoon that the Wyndham would stay closed to the public. The PGA TOUR has stayed consistent today with their updates today in hopes to play the Wyndham in four days, however we may be looking at a 3-day tournament or a Monday/Tuesday finish with the continued attack of Debby.
